About Us

Who Are the churches of Christ?

So many tend to confuse the church of Christ with the various denominations of our day. We would like to point out some distinct differences. We hope and pray you will read the following with an open mind and receptive heart. Weigh each point carefully as you open the New Testament to compare what is stated here. If you find these points to be in accordance with the will of God, please accept them since your salvation depends upon it (John 12:48). Jesus said, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18). Please note that “church” is singular in number and possessive in case: “my church.” This is the only church about which one may read in the Bible.

Who Is the New Hope Road church of Christ?

This is a congregation which looks to the Bible exclusively – nothing else.  We go to the text of the Bible for all we do. Our sole objective is to serve and worship God with an ever-deepening faithfulness. We are involved in mission works, benevolence and various events throughout the year (Gospel Meetings, Vacation Bible School, Ladies Day, etc.). There are more things to accomplish. This is a small congregation at the moment, but also an active congregation where everyone utilizes their abilities and develops talents. We are a warm and welcoming place. You will not get lost in the crowd.
The emphasis here is to love God and love our neighbors.

Our
Mission

The mission here in Dacula is the same as the first century in Jerusalem. After Christ’s resurrected and before His ascension into heaven Jesus gave what is called the Great Commission. This was given to those disciples who heard Him. It is also given to every generation of believers to follow. This is found in Matthew 28:18-20. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

"He has made everything beautiful in its time."
(Ecclesiastes 3:11)
